Elevating the brand of an established player in environmental IoT
With more than 4 million connected objects deployed worldwide, Birdz is a leader in environmental IoT solutions for cities, industry and the service sector.
The challenge
Birdz, owned by Veolia, runs the world's largest deployment of smart water meters, over 3.5 million units, alongside a broad portfolio of environmental IoT solutions. Yet its brand did not reflect that breadth or leadership. It still read as a technology and sensor vendor rather than the environmental leader it had become.
What we did
We built a brand platform that shifts Birdz from technology-centric messaging to outcome-driven positioning, focused on how Birdz helps cities and utilities save resources and grow through efficiency. It covered a distinct purpose, personality and values, stakeholder-specific key messages, and a clear tone of voice. The visual identity moved from vibrant tech colours to earthier, more mature tones, with organic graphic elements and simple, actionable guidelines, all captured in a brand booklet for the sales and marketing teams.
The outcome
A cohesive brand that finally matches Birdz's standing as an environmental IoT leader, ready to apply consistently across every touchpoint.
“Kurrant's unique approach, blending industry expertise and creativity, helped us effectively elevate our image as an industry leader in sustainability and environmental IoT.”
